Hi everybody – Gill again (haha…get it…Gilligan….). Anywhooo…it’s been a busy couple of weeks, but I have some exciting things to report. First of all, progress in my brand new KidZone at Adventure Aquarium is going swimmingly. Crews have completely demo-ed the area formerly known as “Zone C” and right now, if you tried to access the area, you would see this:
Exciting right? It seems so mysterious. What’s behind the doors???? Well, I’m here to fill you in on all that!
This week, I swam in and snapped a few pictures of the new space, which you can view in this gallery. If you haven’t guessed already – construction is officially ON. Meaning, next week I should have 
even MORE cool pictures and news to share with you about KidZone.
Guess what else you’ll get to do at KidZone? You’ll get to meet my very best friends, the AquaPals: Shelldon the Sea Turtle, Bobbi the Penguin, and Lizzie the Hippo. Me and the AquaPals are officially going to be TAKING OVER KidZone, as we take you on a journey through the waterways of the world. Get hands-on and learn about animal habitats, lifestyles and other cool animal facts, like how scientists studied shark skin (just like mine!) to create super sleek swimsuits for Olympic swimmers!
So, if you haven’t done so already, take a moment to meet the AquaPals. They (usually) won’t bite and like I said, they’re friends of mine and you know how the saying goes: “Friends of mine are friends of…” Well, you know the rest.
